The seed is his; the tree is mine.
森 is built from 木, the character for tree. One is a single tree; 林, two, a grove; 森, three, a whole forest - the character grows the way this garden does, one planting at a time, trees thickening into woods into forest. Said in Japanese it’s mori; bent a half-step into Korean it becomes 머리, meori - the head, the mind. A forest, and a forest of the mind, in the same breath.
The single tree, 木, is 나무 in Korean - namu - the sound hiding in 남준, Namjoon: his name opens on 남, nam, a breath short of 나무. His name is the first tree. Everything that grows from it - the forest, the mind - is mine.
Start in the concepts, or wander the seeds and branches. The garden rules map the shape.
